I haven't had asthma since I was in pre-school, but right now I feel like it would be fitting to find an inhalator somewhere. *wheezes*

Basically, if I want to graduate in a month, all courses must be marked as passed by Friday. For that to happen everything needs to be done and graded by tomorrow. Only problem is that for some reason I'm missing marks for courses that I have most definitely done, and that combined with fact that I still haven't turned in essays for three other mandatory courses makes me slightly nervous. And desperate. And panicky. This is where it gets obvious that I haven't really ever developed any working study strategies in the past 12 years.

So now I'm in a situation where my graduating depends on if I can research and write 2 essays (5 and min.7 pages) and an art analysis piece in the next 12 hours (that's if I go without sleep): one on the political history of Libya leading up to today, one about the history of women's rights in Finland, and analysis on the most boring art showing I've ever seen (which might possibly turn into analysis of this piece (Virginie by Albert Edelfelt), because it's much more interesting.)

Wish me luck?

In much more positive news, I have a job for next month! I'll be working in a primary school nearby doing... well, I have no idea what I'll be doing. The only translation I can find for the job title is "school helper" so I guess that is what I will be. :D It'll be GREAT.

Also, my brain keeps throwing ridiculous AUs at me where everyone's a Disney princess or works in a bakery or bikes, and that last one is my favourite because these amazing vintage style images of fandom characters on bicycles just appear in my mind's eye and cycle around to a jaunty tune. I have no explanation. *hands* Possibly I'm going mad.

THANK YOU, THEY WILL BE NEEDED.

It is, isn't it! I'm spending more time staring at it than analyzing it. :D

:D

You should analyze it right now! RIGHT! NOW! So when you're finished you can tell me the story of the tiny dark person in the background and how it came to be in the house.

Ahaha, when that's done I still have 8 pages to write (ohmygod/o\).

But if I did have time to tell the story, I would suppose that the lovely miss Virginie lived in a lovely little house all by her lonesome self. Or that's how it seemed to the passers-by. The old wives talked about how it was not good for such a fair young lady as herself to spend her days in solitude, but little did they know that she was not alone at all. Because in Virginie's little house lived somebody else. Somebody else who was terribly noisy when she was trying to sleep, thought Virginie of the person, who'd once again tripped on the upturned corner of her livingroom carpet by the sound of things. The person, who did not seem to exist before she closed her eyes.

And then she meets Edelfelt who insists that he has to paint her. Of course Virginie thinks this is nonsense; Surely he could paint any young lady and be quite satisfied with himself, but then Edelfelt comes over and he says: "Did you know there's an attic spirit creeping around your front room?"

:DDDDDDD

WRITE YOUR ESSAYS! *craks whip*

Ahahahhah! I bet Miss Virginie couldn't believe her ears! At last, she had found someone who could see her misterious housemate! Oh joy! :DDD

*stands to attention* YES, MA'AM!
(I went and ran after teachers for 3 hours this morning (I was looking at their Monday schedules. No wonder I could never seem to find them where they were supposed to be :P) and stressed out about the missing Libya essay, just to have the study advisor point out that I actually had already gotten a mark for the course and could therefore basically turn it in whenever or maybe not at all. *facepalm giggle*)

:D I assure you, she played it cool and promptly told mister Edelfelt to please tell it to mind its steps so as to stop wrecking havoc on her living spaces.

*smirks* Good girl.
(I am sorry, but I loled for real! &you;)

Well, Mr Edelfelt must have spoke to the spirit, then, because in the painting it is leaping from a little stand, is it not? Maybe the spirit can't hear any sound beside voices, so he actually didn't know that he was making such a ruckus.

Thank you! So far I've got a kickass analysis and good timeline bases to plump up for the essays. I'm cautiously hopeful \o/

Good luck! This is a bit belated so hopefully you have been successful already :)

Thanks, success has indeed been achieved! Apparently I didn't actually need to write the other essay, since I was the only one who remembered that I were supposed to write it in the first place. :D
